Zenith group was founded in 1971, starting its business as a general exclusive agent for major global dyestuff manufacturers, such as Mitsubishi Chemical, Japan and Hoechst Cassella, Germany. Zenith soon became the largest distributor of disperse dyestuffs in Taiwan. During its partnership with global dyestuff manufacturers, Zenith obtained world class technology on disperse dyestuffs, including dye synthesis, dye preparation/finishing, and dyeing application. In 1995, Zenith co-founded a new joint venture company with Long Sheng group by investing capital of 4 million US dollar and provided dyestuff production technology (worth more than 1 billion RMB), covering more than 500 items of disperse dyes and their respective intermediates, including more than 2000 step-by-step production flowsheets, free of charge. The provision of dyestuff production technology directly contributed to rapid development of China’s dyestuff industry and significant reduction in global dyestuff production cost in the past decades. To better control product quality, Zenith made vertical integration in 2000, by establishing Zenith Chemical Industries Co. Ltd. with a capital amount of 18 million and setting up its own manufacturing factory with production capacity of 25,000 tons in ZheJiang, China.

While Zenith develops it core competence by possession of the production technology for over 500 product items, it focuses on producing high quality disperse dyestuff product series, including rapid dyeing product series, high light fastness product series, high washing fastness product series, and luminous and fluorescent color product series.
